Experience
Cox Airparts has been an FAA Certified Part 145 Repair Station since 2009. They recently acquired the EASA endorsement in March of 2021. Rick Cox, the owner, has been in the overhaul and repair business since he finished his military time in the 82nd Airborne. He is now joined by his two sons, Bryan and Nathan.
Rick has over 30 years experience in manufacturing and servicing aircraft hydraulic components.
Prior to Rick opening his own business, he worked for Airight, Inc. and APPH Wichita for over 18 years. While there, he ran the manufacturing and repair shop. Rick’s oldest son, Bryan, now helps run the repair station. Bryan went on to get his A&P license at Wichita Area Technical College. While doing A&P courses he also attended Kansas State University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology in 2016. He now operates the repair station with Rick’s guidance. Nathan, Rick's younger son, is a technician. Both Nathan and Bryan have been with Rick since the very first day of business. With that said, Rick and Bryan are highly experienced and knowledgeable in your aircrafts hydraulic system. The technicians at Cox Airparts are highly trained and dedicated to minimizing your aircraft's downtime. Upholding their customers’ trust has been their top priority since day one.
